Use this procedure to create a CAD (CFF2) file from a Pandora job created with the Smart Layout feature. The example used in this procedure is a Pandora job that used Smart Layout technology to nest multiple artwork (folding cartons). It has no die files. To create the CAD file, you will:
- Export the layout from Pandora as a PDF file.
- Open the PDF file in Adobe Illustrator, extract the dieline layer, and save it as an EPS file.
- Open the EPS file in CAD Correct, where the CFF2 file will be created.
To perform this procedure, you must have the following software installed on your computer:
- Kodak Pandora Pro version software that supports the Smart Layout feature
- Adobe Illustrator
- Kodak CAD Correct software
