You can view file information about any TIFF or VPS file you opened opened in Preview mode or any TIFF file (or VPS element ) placed in a layout in Layout mode.

There are two levels of File Information: Standard and Advanced
- Select the TIFF file (or or VPS file in the Separations panel or select an element in a layout ) for which you for which you want to view information.
- From the File menu, select Info.
- If you are in Layout mode, you can also view file information from
- the Inventory panel by selecting the TIFF or VPS and clicking the
icon in the bottom right corner of the panel.
- To In order to view additional file information, from the Edit menu, select when in Packaging Mode, select Preferences > Advanced > Show advanced information in the File Information dialog box.
- You can only select the advanced file information preference when in Packaging Mode.
- If you normally work in Commercial Mode, you can temporarily switch to Packaging Mode to select the Advanced preference, then switch back to Commercial Mode and the choice will be retained.
