Adjust the preferences for object and border colors, units of measure, and so on.
Marquee selection allows you to more easily select several objects at a time.
- Click the Plate Builder Tool button to start a Plate Builder session.
- On the Plate Builder toolbar, click Select Object.
- To select several objects at one time, hold the mouse button and drag a selection rectangle (a marquee) completely around the objects that you want to select.
Note: Plate Builder selects only objects that are fully inside the marquee.
A selected object appears highlighted with the color that you specified. - To add an object, hold down Shift, and drag a marquee around the objects.
- To remove objects from a selection group, hold down Shift, and drag a marquee completely around the objects that you want to remove from the group.
