To round the corners of the seam, select the Round corners check box. Round corners are less likely to break when the shape of the seam is cut.

Creating the seam manually

  1. From the Inventory palette, on the Separations tab, in the Seam/Lanes list, select the seam that you want to create.
    The relevant separation is selected and the Properties palette opens on the Seam tab.
  2. Click the Seam tool , and then click in the display window to create the line segments.
  3. If any of the seam segments are red, adjust them.

Creating the seam semi-automatically

  1. From the Inventory palette, on the Separations tab, in the Seam/Lanes list, select the seam that you want to create.
    The relevant separation is selected and the Properties palette opens on the Seam tab.
  2. From the Properties palette, select the Complete seam automatically check box.
  3. To create the segments of the first two columns/elements, click the Seam tool , and then click in the display window to create the line segments.
    TIFF Assembler Plus software duplicates the segments in the remaining columns.
  4. Click Finalize.
    The software creates the rest of the seam.
  5. If any of the seam segments are red, adjust them.

Creating the seam automatically

  1. From the Inventory palette, on the Separations tab, in the Seam/Lanes list, select the seam that you want to create.
    The relevant separation is selected and the Properties palette opens on the Seam tab.
  2. From the Properties palette, select the shape of the seam. Choose between , , , , or .
  3. In the Define seam automatically area, click Apply.
    The software uses the job step-and-repeat parameters to create the seam automatically.
  4. If any of the seam segments are red, adjust them.
