The InSite software works with proxy servers using the CERN protocol.

Proxy Server Requirements

The proxy server must meet the following requirements:

  • Supports both http and https client computer requests on a single port

  • Has access to the InSite or PressProof server on ports 80 and 443 (if SSL encryption is used)

  • HTTP 1.1 support is required. Kodak Portal products are not currently qualified for HTTP/2
  • The proxy server must not decrypt, rewrite, or in any way modify packets passing through it to or from the InSite Prepress Portal or InSite Creative Workflow server. If packets are modified, unpredictable behavior may result
  • Reverse proxies are not qualified with IPP and ICW

Client Computer Requirements

To connect to the proxy server, client computers must meet the following requirements:

  • The proxy server IP address must be manually set.
  • On a Mac computer, the proxy server IP address must be entered separately for http and https.
  • Automatic proxy detection must be disabled.

Scripted Proxy Configurations

Scripted proxy configurations are qualified on Windows-based computers using the Microsoft Edge browser. Mac OS X 10.6.8 or later supports scripted proxy configurations.

Die InSite-Software kann auf Proxyservern verwendet werden, die nach dem CERN-Protokoll arbeiten.

Anforderungen an Proxyserver

Der Proxyserver muss folgende Anforderungen erfüllen:

  • Unterstützung von HTTP- und HTTPS-Clientcomputer-Anforderungen auf einem einzelnen Port

  • Verfügt über Zugriff auf den InSite- oder PressProof-Server auf den Ports 80 und 443 (falls SSL-Verschlüsselung verwendet wird)

  • Die Unterstützung von HTTP 1.1 ist erforderlich. Die Kodak Portal-Produkte unterstützen derzeit HTTP/2 nicht.
  • Der Proxy-Server darf keine Pakete entschlüsseln, umschreiben oder in irgendeiner Weise verändern, die über ihn zum oder vom InSite Prepress Portal oder InSite Creative Workflow-Server geleitet werden. Wenn Pakete verändert werden, kann dies zu unvorhersehbarem Verhalten führen.
  • Umgekehrte Proxys werden nicht unterstützt

Clientcomputer-Systemanforderungen

Um eine Verbindung mit dem Proxyserver herstellen zu können, müssen Client-Computer folgende Anforderungen erfüllen:

  • Die IP-Adresse des Proxyservers muss manuell eingestellt werden.
  • Auf Mac-Computern muss die IP-Adresse des Proxyservers für HTTP und HTTPS getrennt festgelegt werden.
  • Die automatische Proxy-Erkennung muss deaktiviert sein.

Skriptgesteuerte Proxy-Konfigurationen

Skriptgesteuerte Proxykonfiguration wird auf Windows-basierten Computern mit dem Browser Internet Explorer unterstützt. Mac OS X 10.6.8 oder höher unterstützt skriptgesteuerte Proxykonfigurationen.
