To prevent the Mac OS menu items such as the dock and finder and application menus from displaying undesirable color casts, it is recommended to reduce transparency.

  1. Select Apple > System Preferences (macOS 12) or System Settings (macOS 13 and up).
  2. Click Accessibility.
  3. Select Under Vision, select Display.
  4. Turn on Select the box beside Reduce Transparency.
  5. Close the Accessibility window.
