Use RBA to automate the creation of documents from files for submission to a digital print device.
In digital printing, a document combines content files (for example, PDF or variable-data print (VDP) files) with a job ticket (JDF file).
You can use RBA to prepare documents and target them for a digital production press using the following events and actions: | To do this |

Digital Submit event | Start the rule when files are submitted using the Prinergy Digital Submit software. A rule set that starts with the Digital Submit event must by enabled for the entire system. | Job Changed to Production event | Start the rule when files are moved to Production using the InSite Prepress Portal software or InSite Storefront software. | Job Hot Folder Drop event | Start the rule when files are dropped into a hot folder. | Manual Trigger event | Start the rule manually. | Use this action | To do this |
