The following tables describe the minimum recommended hardware configurations for computers running a Mac OS or Windows operating system. For information on additional hardware requirements for color-accurate viewing, see the Matchprint Virtual Release Notes.

Recommended Mac Computer Configuration
Display Resolution

1024 x 768 or higher. If the display resolution is lower than 1024 x 768, you may be unable to see all of the available tools and features.

Color-accurate viewing with Matchprint Virtual has additional monitor requirements. For details, see the Matchprint Virtual Monitor Selection Guide.

Memory
  • 2 GB of available RAM for the PressProof software. If you use multiple monitors with PressProof, 4 GB is recommended.
  • 1 GB of available RAM for all other InSite software
Central Processing Unit (CPU)

Apple iMac computer, Apple Mac Pro computer, or Apple Mac mini computer (with an Intel Core Duo or above processors)

 

Note: Matchprint Matchprint Virtual and PressProof are not supported qualified on Apple iMac or MacBook Pro computers.

Recommended Windows Computer Configuration

1 GB of available RAM

If you run other software at the same time, more memory will be needed.

Note: Matchprint Matchprint Virtual and PressProof are not supported qualified on Windows computers.
