Create a duplicating mark that repeats a mark image file to automatically fill a specified area.

1. In the Marks folder, select the EPS and PDF version of an existing custom mark image file.
2. Move the mark image file to the Dupmarks folder. Do not copy the file.
   A mark image file that is in the Dupmarks folder must not reside in another location within the Marks folder.
3. Restart Preps software, so that it will recognize the mark file as a duplicating mark.
4. Select Resources > New SmartMark > Duplicating.
5. Edit the properties:
   1. Give the new mark a suitable name.
   2. Locate and select the mark image file.
   3. Specify the area that the mark is to fill.
   4. In the Duplicate from list, select Left or Right to repeat the image from one end of the mark length to the other, or select Center to repeat it to either side from the center of the mark area.
   5. Edit the remaining mark properties, as needed.
6. Click Save to automatically add the new duplicating mark to the Marks list.

The duplicating SMK file is stored in the SmartMarks folder and references the custom mark image file in the Dupmarks folder. When you add this mark to a press sheet, it will automatically repeat to fill the area that you specify

Es posible crear una marca de duplicación que repita un archivo de imagen de marca para rellenar automáticamente un área especificada.

1. En la carpeta Marks, seleccione las versiones EPS y PDF de un archivo de imagen de marca personalizada existente.
2. Traslade el archivo de imagen de marca a la carpeta Dupmarks. No copie el archivo.
   Un archivo de imagen de marca que esté en la carpeta Dupmarks no se debe encontrar en ninguna otra ubicación de la carpeta Marks.
3. Reinicie el software Preps para que reconozca el archivo como marca de duplicación.
4. Seleccione Recursos > Nueva SmartMark > Duplicación.
5. Edite las propiedades:
   1. Especifique un nombre adecuado para la nueva marca.
   2. Busque y seleccione el archivo de imagen de marca.
   3. Indique el área que deberá ocupar la marca.
   4. En la lista Duplicar desde, seleccione Izquierda o Derecha para repetir la imagen desde un extremo de la longitud de marca hasta el otro, o seleccione Centro para repetirla a ambos lados del centro del área de marca.
   5. Edite el resto de las propiedades de la marca, según sea necesario.
6. Haga clic en Guardar para añadir automáticamente la nueva marca duplicada a la lista Marcas.
