To print directly to a device such as a laser printer on your network, define the connection in its media configuration.
Requirement: The printer must already be installed and selectable on your computer.
- In the Media list, right-click Generic PostScript Printer, and select Edit.
- In the Media Configuration dialog box, click Connection.
- In the Connection dialog box, select the printer.
- Click Test Print.
- After the test page prints, click OK.
