Select File > Print. The following options appear on every tab of the Print dialog box.

Send to

Lists all available output types, and displays the current output type. You can select a different output type each time you print.

• Printer: Prints to the printer that is selected in the Connection dialog box. Divided output is not available.
• PDF: Generates one or more PDF output files
• PS: Generates one or more PostScript files
• JDF: Generates a Job Definition Format file
• PJTF: Generates an Adobe Job Ticket file for workflows that require Portable Job Ticket Format job data
• PPF: Generates one Print Production Format cutting-data file per press sheet
  
  The default type is defined on the Output tab in the Preferences dialog box.

Copies

Specify the number of copies to be printed.

Comment text

Type text or text-mark variables to build the $Comment text mark for this job.

Media

Lists all available media resources, including any tile sets that you create, and displays the job's media selection. The default media is Press Sheet Size.  If Multiple appears, then the output targets more than one media size and will be imaged by one or more devices:

• Changing this setting applies the selection to the entire output.
• The lowest supported capabilities apply to the entire output.
• One JDF, PJTF, or PDF output file contains the separate media information for each press sheet.
• JDF or PJTF output also includes a separate marks flat per media.
• PDF output generates a single file that contains the different media sizes, and only the applicable press runs are printed by each device. (To send separate files, you can use divided output.)
• PS output generates a separate file for each media. Sequentially numbered press runs that target the same media are output in a single file. Nonsequential press runs are output as separate files in the correct sequence.

The output file names include the media name and a sequential numeric identifier.
Note: To successfully generate PS output with multiple media to an AFP share location, limit the file name to 31 characters.

Connection

Displays the connected printer that is currently selected in the Connection dialog box for the target media. This option only appears if Printer is selected in the Send to box. It is not displayed for multiple media.

Print

Sends the output to the Send to selection. The default output path is defined on the Folders tab in the Preferences dialog box. If the Print ID dialog box appears, type an identifier that is appended to the file name of each output file generated. The maximum number of characters for the Split File Name is defined on the Preferences Output tab. If the Print ID dialog box does not appear, it indicates that the split file name format in Preferences uses a different identifier

Seleccione Archivo > Imprimir. Las siguientes opciones aparecen en todas las fichas del cuadro de diálogo Imprimir.

Enviar a

Muestra todos los tipos de salida disponibles y el tipo de salida actual. Puede seleccionar un tipo de salida distinto cada vez que imprima.

• Impresora: imprime en la impresora seleccionada en el cuadro de diálogo Conexión. No hay disponible salida dividida.
• PDF: crea uno o varios archivos de salida PDF
• PS: crea uno o varios archivos PostScript
• JDF: crea un archivo de formato de definición de trabajo (Job Definition Format)
• PJTF: crea un archivo de nota de trabajo (Job Ticket) de Adobe para flujos de trabajo que necesiten datos de trabajo de formato de nota de trabajo portátil (Portable Job Ticket Format)
• PPF: crea un archivo de datos de corte de formato de producción de impresión (Print Production Format) por hoja de impresión

El tipo predeterminado se define en la ficha Salida del cuadro de diálogo Preferencias.

Copias

Permite especificar el número de copias que se van a imprimir.

Texto de comentario

Introduzca texto o variables de marca de texto para crear la $Comment marca de texto para este trabajo.

Material

Muestra todos los recursos de material disponibles, incluidos los conjuntos de mosaicos que cree. Muestra también la selección de material del trabajo. El material predeterminado es Tamaño de hoja de impresión.
Si aparece la opción Múltiple, la salida está programada para más de un tamaño de material y se expondrá en uno o varios dispositivos:

Conexión

Muestra la impresora conectada seleccionada actualmente en el cuadro de diálogo Conexión para el material de destino. Esta opción solo aparece si se selecciona Impresora en la casilla Enviar a. No se muestra si hay varios materiales.

Imprimir

Envía la salida a la sección Enviar a. La ruta predeterminada se define en la ficha Carpetas del cuadro de diálogo Preferencias.
Si aparece el cuadro de diálogo ID de impresión, escriba un identificador que se adjuntará al nombre de cada archivo de salida generado. El número máximo de caracteres para el Nombre de archivo dividido se define en la ficha Preferencias Salida.
