To print directly to a device such as a laser printer on your network, define the connection in its media configuration.
Requirement: The printer must already be installed and selectable on your computer.

  1. In the Media list, right-click Generic PostScript Printer, and select Edit.
  2. In the Media Configuration dialog box, click Connection.
  3. In the Connection dialog box, select the printer.
  4. Click Test Print.
  5. After the test page prints, click OK.
    Tip: If a test page does not print, troubleshoot the printer and operating system setup.
