Select File > Print. The following options appear on every tab of the Print dialog box.

Send to

Lists all available output types, and displays the current output type. You can select a different output type each time you print.

  • Printer: Prints to the printer that is selected in the Connection dialog box. Divided output is not available.
  • PDF: Generates one or more PDF output files
  • PS: Generates one or more PostScript files
  • JDF: Generates a Job Definition Format file
  • PJTF: Generates an Adobe Job Ticket file for workflows that require Portable Job Ticket Format job data
  • PPF: Generates one Print Production Format cutting-data file per press sheet

    The default type is defined on the Output tab in the Preferences dialog box.

Copies

Specify the number of copies to be printed.

Comment text

Type text or text-mark variables to build the $Comment text mark for this job.

Media

Lists all available media resources, including any tile sets that you create, and displays the job's media selection. The default media is Press Sheet Size.  If Multiple appears, then the output targets more than one media size and will be imaged by one or more devices:

  • Changing this setting applies the selection to the entire output.
  • The lowest supported capabilities apply to the entire output.
  • One JDF, PJTF, or PDF output file contains the separate media information for each press sheet.
  • JDF or PJTF output also includes a separate marks flat per media.
  • PDF output generates a single file that contains the different media sizes, and only the applicable press runs are printed by each device. (To send separate files, you can use divided output.)
  • PS output generates a separate file for each media. Sequentially numbered press runs that target the same media are output in a single file. Nonsequential press runs are output as separate files in the correct sequence.

The output file names include the media name and a sequential numeric identifier.
Note: To successfully generate PS output with multiple media to an AFP share location, limit the file name to 31 characters.

Connection

Displays the connected printer that is currently selected in the Connection dialog box for the target media. This option only appears if Printer is selected in the Send to box. It is not displayed for multiple media.

Print

Sends the output to the Send to selection. The default output path is defined on the Folders tab in the Preferences dialog box. If the Print ID dialog box appears, type an identifier that is appended to the file name of each output file generated. The maximum number of characters for the Split File Name is defined on the Preferences Output tab. If the Print ID dialog box does not appear, it indicates that the split file name format in Preferences uses a different identifier.

Immettere il testo o le variabili del testo dei commenti per creare $Comment il segno di testo per il processo specificato.

Supporto

Consente di visualizzare un elenco di tutti i supporti disponibili, compresi gli eventuali set di sezioni creati, e la selezione dei supporti del processo. Il supporto predefinito è Dimensioni foglio di stampa.

Se viene visualizzata l'opzione Multipli, l'output utilizza più formati di supporti e l'esposizione verrà effettuata da uno o più dispositivi:

  • La modifica di questa impostazione ha effetto sulla selezione di tutto l'output.
  • Le funzionalità minime supportate vengono applicate a tutto l'output.
  • Le informazioni sui supporti specifiche per ciascun foglio di stampa sono contenute in un file di output JDF, PJTF o PDF.
  • L'output JDF o PJTF comprende anche flat di segni separati per ciascun supporto.
  • L'output PDF crea un unico file che contiene i vari formati di supporti. Ciascun dispositivo stampa solo i cicli di stampa applicabili (per inviare file separati, è necessario usare l'output diviso).
  • L'output PS crea un file separato per ciascun supporto. I cicli di stampa numerati in sequenza che utilizzano lo stesso supporto vengono stampati in un unico file. I cicli di stampa non in sequenza vengono stampati come file a parte nella sequenza corretta.

I nomi dei file di output comprendono il nome del supporto e un identificatore numerico in sequenza.
Nota: Per creare correttamente un output PS con più supporti in una posizione di condivisione AFP, è consigliabile non usare nomi con più di 31 caratteri.

Connessione

Consente di visualizzare la stampante collegata attualmente selezionata nella finestra di dialogo Connessione del supporto utilizzato. Questa opzione viene visualizzata solo se l'opzione Stampante è selezionata nella casella Invia a. Non è possibile visualizzare questa informazione se si utilizzano più supporti.

Stampa

Consente di inviare l'output alla selezione Invia a. Il percorso di uscita predefinito viene impostato nella scheda Cartelle nella finestra di dialogo Preferenze.
Se viene visualizzata la finestra di dialogo ID stampa, immettere l'identificatore che si desidera aggiungere prima del nome file di ciascun file di output creato. Il numero massimo di caratteri per il nome del file diviso può essere specificato nella scheda Preferenze Output.
Se la finestra di dialogo ID stampa non viene visualizzata, significa che il formato del nome del file diviso impostato in Preferenze utilizza un identificatore diverso.

メディア

ユーザーが作成したタイル セットをはじめとする、すべてのデバイス設定を一覧表示し、ジョブで選択されているデバイスを表示します。 デフォルトのデバイスは、Press Sheet Sizeです。
複数が表示された場合、複数のメディア サイズを 1 台以上のデバイスで出力できます。

  • この設定を変更すると、出力全体に適用されます。
  • サポートされる最小限の機能が出力全体に適用されます。
  • 1 つの JDF、PJTF、または PDF 出力ファイルに、各シートのメディア情報が含まれています。
  • JDF または PJTF 出力には、メディアごとのマーク フラットも含まれています。
  • PDF 出力を行うと、異なるメディア サイズの単一ファイルが生成され、該当するプレス ランのみが各デバイスで出力されます。 分割出力を使用して、別々のファイルを送信することもできます。
  • PS 出力では、メディアごとに別のファイルが作成されます。 同じメディアが設定され、番号が連続しているプレス ランは、単一のファイルで出力されます。 連続していないプレス ランは、正しい順序で別々のファイルとして出力されます。

出力ファイル名には、メディア名および連続した番号の識別子が含まれます。
注: 複数のメディアが設定された PS 出力を、AFP 共有の場所に正しく生成するには、ファイル名を 31 文字以内に制限します。

接続

目的のメディアに対して、接続ダイアログ ボックスで現在選択されている接続済みプリンタを表示します。 このオプションは、出力先ボックスでプリンタが選択されている場合にのみ表示されます。 複数のメディアに対しては表示されません。

出力

出力先で選択されているターゲット デバイスに出力を送信します。 デフォルトの出力パスは、環境設定ダイアログ ボックスのフォルダタブで定義されます。
出力 IDダイアログ ボックスが表示された場合は、生成される各出力ファイルの名前の先頭に追加する識別子を入力します。 分割ファイル名の最大文字数は、環境設定の出力タブで定義されます。
出力 IDダイアログ ボックスが表示されない場合、環境設定内の分割ファイル名形式で別の識別子が使用されています。
