After defining a product assembly, you can trigger automatic generation of the press-run layouts.

In the Assembly view, ensure that the product is fully defined and that the product sections have a fold pattern selected. (You can also select the sections from the Products pane.)
Note: If it is only partially defined, do not use this procedure. Instead, you can manually finish defining its parts and sections and creating the press-run layouts in the Press Runs view.
Select the product in the workspace or Products list.
Note: In Preps software, version 7.0, you can set the Work Style, placement position of the imposition, and the horizontal or vertical gaps before you click Generate Press Runs.
Click Generate Press Runs.
If the press-run layouts are successfully generated, the view switches to the Press Runs view. If they fail to be generated, you can edit the settings and try again, or switch to Press Runs view and manually complete the job.

Next: In the Press Runs view, check and adjust the generated press-run layouts and trims as needed, and print the output.

Dopo avere definito un gruppo di prodotti, è possibile attivare la generazione automatica dei layout di cicli di stampa.

Nella vista Gruppo, verificare che il prodotto sia completamente definito e che le sezioni del prodotto siano caratterizzate da uno schema di piegatura (è possibile selezionare le sezioni anche dal riquadro Prodotti).
Nota: Se è definito solo parzialmente, non servirsi di questa procedura. Al contrario, è possibile completare la definizione manuale delle relative parti e sezioni creando layout di cicli di stampa nella vista Cicli di stampa.
Selezionare il prodotto nello spazio di lavoro o dall'elenco Prodotti.
Nota: Nel software Preps versione 7.0, è possibile impostare stile di lavoro, posizione dell'imposizione e distanza orizzontale o verticale prima di fare clic su Genera cicli di stampa.
Fare clic su Genera cicli di stampa.
Se i layout di ciclo di stampa vengono generati correttamente, viene visualizzata la vista Cicli di stampa. Se la generazione non riesce, è possibile modificare le impostazioni e riprovare oppure passare alla vista Cicli di stampa e completare il processo manualmente.

Nella vista Cicli di stampa, verificare e regolare i layout di cicli di stampa e i rifili generati secondo necessità, quindi stampare l'output.
