To automatically position press sheets so that the image is accurately centered on the center pin of a punch system, you calculate and define the punch coordinates for the media configuration.

  1. In the Media Configuration dialog box, select the Media Size.
  2. Click Punch.
  3. In the Punch Location dialog box, click Punch Test to generate a test page.
  4. Position the imaged test page so that it is oriented to match the diagram in the dialog box.
  5. In the Punch Orientation area, select the letter that represents the punch side of the media. By default, a punch mark appears centered on the bottom edge of the press sheet (A).
  6. Measure the X axis:
    1. Click the X Axis box to display arrows in the diagram that show which measurement from the test to use.
    2. On the test media, measure from the center of the test image to the center of the punch system.
    3. Type this measurement in the X Axis box.
  7. Measure the Y axis:
    1. Click the Y Axis box to display arrows in the diagram that show which measurement from the test to use.
    2. Measure from the center of the punch center hole to where the center measurement line would extend off the media.
    3. Type this measurement in the Y Axis box.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Print a placeholder layout to check the placement of the punch mark.

The punch coordinates remain at these settings until you edit them.

Pour positionner automatiquement les feuilles d'impression pour que l'image soit exactement centrée sur le pivot du système de perforation, vous calculez et définissez les coordonnées de la perforation de la configuration du support.

  1. Dans la boîte de dialogue Configuration du support, sélectionnez la Taille du support.
  2. Cliquez sur Perforation.
  3. Dans la boîte de dialogue Emplacement de perforation, cliquez sur Test de la perforation pour générer une page test.

    1. Cliquez sur la zone Axe Y pour afficher les flèches dans le diagramme indiquant les mesures du test à utiliser.
    2. Mesurez à partir du centre du trou central de la perforation jusqu'à l'endroit où la ligne de mesure centrale dépasserait le support.
    3. Saisissez cette mesure dans la case Axe Y.
  8. Cliquez sur OK.
  9. Imprimez la disposition de la marque de réservation pour vérifier le positionnement du repère de perforation.

Les coordonnées de la perforation conservent ces paramètres jusqu'à ce que vous les modifiez.

  7. Messen Sie die Y-Achse:
    1. Aktivieren Sie das Kontrollkästchen Y-Achse. Dadurch werden im Diagramm Pfeile angezeigt, die angeben, welche Messung des Tests zu verwenden ist.
    2. Messen Sie den Abstand von der Mitte des Mittelloches zu dem Punkt, an dem die mittlere Messlinie den Rand des Mediums erreicht.
    3. Geben Sie diesen Wert im Feld Y-Achse ein.
  8. Klicken Sie auf OK.
  9. Drucken Sie ein Platzhalter-Layout, um die Platzierung der Stanzmarke zu überprüfen.
