You can automate layout creation and reduce operator interaction by feeding data directly from an MIS system to the PLA software. This is accomplished by writing MIS data in an XML file to a Prinergy Workflow hot folder that is monitored by an RBA Layout Automation Create Layout rule set. 

To set up your system, perform the following actions:

  1. Set up an RBA rule to create the layout from the MIS data.
  2. Create a hot folder job with a hot folder, and then activate the RBA MIS rule for that hot folder.
