You can have the Pandora software automatically size a Flexo plate based on the substrate size added to the job plus margins that you specify.

Important: The settings in Preferences > Automatically Sized Substrates with the FlexoPlate selection must already be configured. When this selection is used, the other Auto Sized Substrate options are deselected and inactive. 

  1. Drag a substrate from the ShopMap palette into the job.
    The Create Plate dialog box appears.
  2. In the Height and Width area:
    1. Type the dimensions of the plate required if not accepting the defaults.
    2. In the Units list, select millimeters, centimeters, or inches.
  3. Click Yes.
    The Flexo plate appears on the layout with the substrate.
    Note: If a Press has been attached to the substrate, there will be a warning message: Auto Flexo Plate selected, but a Press has been attached to substrate. All Press offsets will be ignored.
