Lorsque vous changez de protocoles, Prinergy archive, désarchive et restaure les fichiers en conséquence. Lorsque vous désarchivez des fichiers préalablement archivés avec un autre protocole, Prinergy convertit les informations de ressources au format approprié. Par exemple, si vous archivez des travaux en mode AFP, puis passez au mode SMB avec fourchettes nommées, lorsque Prinergy désarchive les fichiers, il convertit les informations de ressources des fourchettes de ressources en fichiers AppleDouble. Si des fichiers contiennent des informations de ressources à la fois présentes dans des fichiers AppleDouble et dans des fourchettes de ressources, le système Prinergy utilise les informations de ressources requises par le nouveau protocole et ignore les autres informations. - Les systèmes Mac OS X 10.4 ou versions antérieures qui se connectent à un partage Windows en mode AFP utilisent uniquement les fourchettes de ressources de flux. Les fourchettes de ressources AppleDouble ne sont pas visibles.
- Les systèmes Mac OS X 10.4 ou versions antérieures en mode SMB se connectent à un partage Unix ou Windows en utilisant uniquement les fourchettes de ressources AppleDouble. Les fourchettes de ressources de flux sont ignorées.
- Les systèmes Mac OS X 10.5 ou versions ultérieures peuvent utiliser le mode Flux AFP ou le mode SMB en mode AppleDouble (en présence d'une ancienne version de Mac OS) ou en mode Flux (pour tous les systèmes Mac OS 10.5 ou versions ultérieures). Les serveurs Windows et UNIX génériques prennent en charge tous les modes OSX 10.5 avec montage SMB.
- Les flux du mode AFP sont compatibles avec ceux du mode SMB.
Archivage - Si Prinergy est configuré pour le mode AFP, seules les fourchettes de ressources basées sur des flux sont sauvegardées. Les fourchettes de ressources AppleDouble sont ignorées.
- Si Prinergy est configuré en mode SMB, seules les fourchettes de ressources AppleDouble sont sauvegardées. Les fourchettes de ressources de flux sont ignorées.
Restauration - Si Prinergy est configuré en mode AFP et que la sauvegarde a été effectuée alors que Prinergy était en mode AFP, les fourchettes de ressources sont restaurées au format Flux.
- Si Prinergy est configuré en mode SMB - AppleDouble et que la sauvegarde a été effectuée dans l'un ou l'autre des modes, les fourchettes de ressources sont restaurées au format AppleDouble. L'outil ForkTranslator de Prinergy convertit les flux d'une archive en mode AFP au format AppleDouble.
- Si Prinergy est configuré en mode SMB - Flux et que la sauvegarde a été effectuée alors que Prinergy utilisait l'un ou l'autre des modes, les fourchettes de ressources sont restaurées au format Flux. L'outil ForkTranslator de Prinergy convertit les fourchettes de ressources AppleDouble d'une archive en mode SMB AppleDouble au format Flux.
- Si Prinergy a été configuré pour SMB, mais que les montages Mac étaient en mode AFP lorsque l'archivage a été effectué, un problème survient. L'archive recherche AppleDouble dans l'archive mais empêche les flux de procéder à la sauvegarde. Dans ce cas, toutes les fourchettes de ressources sont détruites pendant la sauvegarde. L'archive ne contient aucun contexte de fourchettes de ressources. Il n'y a alors aucun moyen de restaurer les fourchettes de ressources.
