Queue Manager lists all of the processes being executed by the server. You can use Queue Manager to stop, hold, or resume a process, and to change the priority of a queued process.
The Queue Manager consists of two views—JTP Queues and Process Types.

JTP Queues

The JTP Queues view displays all active processes for a specific JTP (job ticket processor) in your system.

JTPs are software components that process job files according to instructions in the process templates that you apply to the job files. For example, the Archive-Retrieve JTP processes files according to the instructions in an archive or retrieve process template.

Process Types

The Process Types view displays all active processes for a specific process type in your system.

Choosing a view

A process may execute multiple JTPs—one JTP for each step. For example, a refine process could include the Normalize, ColorConvert, and Trap JTP.

If a process includes multiple JTPs:

• The Process Types view displays the entire process, and indicates the priority of the entire process.
• The JTP Queues view displays the process multiple times as it moves through each JTP, and indicates the order of each step within each JTP queue.

More than one process may use the same JTP. For example, both a refine process and an output process may use the ColorConvert JTP.

Un Gestionnaire des files d'attente répertorie tous les processus en cours d'exécution sur le serveur. Vous pouvez utiliser le Gestionnaire des files d'attente pour arrêter, suspendre ou reprendre un processus et pour modifier la priorité d'un processus en file d'attente.

Ein Warteschlangen-Manager listet alle derzeit vom Server ausgeführten Prozesse auf. Mit dem Warteschlangen-Manager können Sie einen Prozess abbrechen, anhalten oder fortsetzen und die Priorität eines sich in der Warteschlange befindlichen Prozesses ändern.

Der Warteschlangen-Manager besteht aus zwei Ansichten: JTP-Warteschlangen und Prozesstypen.

JTP-Warteschlangen

Auswählen einer Ansicht

In einem Prozess können mehrere JTPs ausgeführt werden, wobei pro Schritt ein JTP verwendet wird. Beispielsweise kann ein Refine-Prozess die Funktionen "Normalisieren", "ColorConvert" und "Trap JTP" enthalten.
Wenn ein Prozess mehrere JTPs enthält, zeigen die Ansichten folgende Informationen an:

• Die Ansicht Prozesstypen zeigt den gesamten Prozess an, sowie die Priorität des gesamten Prozesses.

El Administrador de la cola ofrece una lista de todos los procesos que ejecuta el servidor. Puede utilizar el Administrador de la cola para detener,retener o reanudar un proceso y para cambiar la prioridad de los procesos en cola.

El Administrador de la cola está formado por dos vistas: Colas JTP y Tipos de procesos.

Colas JTP

La vista Colas JTP muestra todos los procesos activos para un JTP determinado (procesador de notas de trabajo) del sistema.
Los JTP son componentes de software que procesan los archivos de trabajo con arreglo a las instrucciones de las plantillas de proceso que les aplique. Por ejemplo, el JTP Archivar-Recuperar procesa los archivos siguiendo las instrucciones de una plantilla de proceso de archivado o recuperación.
