If the input file was submitted for refining using a hot folder, Prinergy Evo software creates a PDF file and stores the file in the hot folder processed folder. If the input file was submitted via the Template Palette, Prinergy Evo saves the refined file to the input file's original folder.
If the file was submitted via a virtual printer, Prinergy Evo software saves the refined file based on the location specified in the attached refine to PDF process template, Processed File Preference section. That is, if you select the Send Processed Files to Default Location check box, Prinergy Evo software saves the PDF file to the location defined in the Virtual Printer dialog box. If you have defined a custom location in the Send Processed files to box, Prinergy Evo software ignores the folder selected in the Virtual Printer dialog box, Default Output Location box and sends the PDF file to the custom location defined in the refine to PDF process template.
When the system refines a multi-page input file, it either creates a single PDF or, if specified, splits the input file by page. Prinergy Evo software then names the PDF files it creates as follows: filename.p0001.pdf, where p0001 is the page number, thereby, enabling you to sort your pages in numeric order. For example, if the two-page test.ps is refined, the system creates test.p0001.pdf and test.p0002.pdf. If the same file is rerefined, the system overwrites those files. Prinergy Evo will not overwrite the source input file.

Si le fichier d'entrée a été envoyé pour raffinage à l'aide d'un Hot Folder, le logiciel Prinergy Evo crée un fichier PDF et stocke le fichier dans le dossier traité du Hot Folder. Si le fichier d'entrée a été envoyé via la palette de modèles, Prinergy Evo enregistre le fichier raffiné dans le dossier d'origine du fichier d'entrée.
Si le fichier a été envoyé via une imprimante virtuelle, Prinergy Evo enregistre le fichier raffiné à l'endroit indiqué dans le modèle de processus Raffinage PDF joint à la section Préférences pour les fichiers traités. Autrement dit, si vous cochez la case Envoyer les fichiers traités vers l'emplacement par défaut, le logiciel Prinergy Evo enregistre le fichier PDF à l'endroit défini dans la boîte de dialogue Imprimante virtuelle. Si vous avez défini un emplacement personnalisé dans la zone Envoyer les fichiers traités vers, Prinergy Evo ignore le dossier sélectionné dans la zone Emplacement de sortie par défaut de la boîte de dialogue Imprimante virtuelle et transfère le fichier PDF à l'emplacement personnalisé défini dans le modèle de processus Raffinage PDF.
Lors du raffinage d'un fichier d'entrée multipage, le système crée un seul PDF ou, sur indication contraire, divise le fichier d'entrée en pages. Le logiciel Prinergy Evo nomme alors les fichiers PDF qu'il génère comme suit : nomfichier.p0001.pdf, où p0001 est le numéro de la page pour vous permettre de classer vos pages par ordre numérique. Par conséquent, si le fichier à deux pages test.ps est raffiné, le système crée test.p0001.pdf et test.p0002.pdf. Si vous raffinez le même fichier une nouvelle fois, le système remplace ces fichiers. Prinergy Evo ne remplace pas le fichier d'entrée source.
