Requirements:

The Sheet Editor is open.

There are two ways to move a proof to another location on a sheet: enter coordinates into the Proof Settings Palette, or drag the proof to the new location. This procedure describes the former method.

  1. From the menu bar in the Sheet Editor, click ViewProof settings palette.
  2. Select the proof.
  3. In the and Y boxes, enter the new sheet coordinates.

The 0,0 point is the top, left corner of the sheet. This is also called the "origin." The proof position is calculated from the top, left corner of the proof. The X-axis runs across the width of the sheet (mainscan). The Y-axis runs along the length of the sheet (subscan).

  1. Press Enter.
