Note: Installing the PLA 9.0.x Client in an Azure environment

Requirement: PLA 9.0.x must be installed on your Prinergy Workflow primary server.

Note: ThePLA UI preferences folder is unique to each user, for example turning on and off certain visible columns. The folder is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Kodak\Layout Automation Client so that each user references and control their own properties file for the PLA UI. 

  • From the Layout Automation Client folder, open the Layout Automation Manager.exe.config file with Notepad++(make sure you have File name extensionschecked in View), edit the value in the line of text AzureMode=2, save the file. The DefaultUser.properties location will be located at  C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Kodak\LayoutAutomationManagerso LayoutAutomationManager so that each user references and controls control their own properties file for the PLA UI.
