Page The page name in the form of Page Position The page position number is a combination of the page set prefix and the position number (both user-definable). Page Labels Page Labels displays unique section numbering applied in InDesign, or other creative applications. Page Labels allow you to easily identify which pages to assign to page sets and positions, based on section numbering. It can be difficult to determine which page set positions to assign refined pages to, based only on default Prinergy page numbering. Because Prinergy always numbers the first page of any Refined input file with “.p1”, page numbers of Refined files often don't represent the page positions in a page set. Page Labels read and display actual page positions as set in InDesign (or other creative applications) and will also display any special section numbering styles. These can identify whether pages should be positioned at a page set position higher than 1, or whether the pages belong to covers, appendices, or other sections. For instance, cover Page Labels could be Covers-1, Covers-2, Covers-3 and Covers-4, and Appendix pages could be numbered with roman numerals such as i, ii, iii…, or letters A, B, C, D… Page Labels will display all special section numbering as set in InDesign, except for one exception. Due to an Adobe limitation, if section numbering has not been explicitly set and remains with the default integer (1, 2, 3, 4...) numbering, and the start of the section is page 1, then no special section numbering will be set in the exported PDF. As a result, no default numbering will display in the Page Labels column. It is recommended to also turn on the Ordinal Numbering column, and position it beside the Page Labels columns, to provide a reference for default numbering. Surface The name of the surface and signature to which the page is assigned. For example, if the page is assigned to the front surface of Signature 1, the Surface column displays A Front 1. Input File The name of the input file from which the page was created Date Refined The date and time that the page was created Page File Location The path to the page file Size The size of the file. Preflight Report Indicates whether a PDF Preflight report has been generated for the PDF page, or whether it is not available. Ordinal Number The page number in a multi-page file that this page represents Versioned Page Status Applies to the Layered PDF Versioning feature. For information, see Versioning. Page Colors The process and spot colors in the page Composite Indicates whether the page is composite. Customer Approval The approval status of the page. These are the possible approval statuses:
Media Size The width and height of the media box of the PDF file. Trim Size The horizontal and vertical measurements to which the page will be cut. The trim size is determined by the page position to which the page is assigned. Offset The horizontal and vertical adjustments made to the page from the lower-left corner. Scale (%) The horizontal and vertical scale measurement of the page, as a percentage of the page's original size. Orientation (°) The number of degrees that the page is rotated. <process template> The name of the process template group that was used to process the file and the processing status.
