Open the .job file or the .tpl file in a text editor. You will see something like:

If the Preps version says Preps 5.3, the file has not been converted through PTMU.

When you open a converted template in Preps 79.x, the mark properties will show a SmartMark without a name. That is a key indicator that the template is from Preps 5 and has been converted through PTMU. If the mark is required to be used in any new work, you can use ‘save as’ on the converted mark in the template and save the mark to the marks folder as a resource that can be used in future.
