If you require output containing no transparent objects, and the flattener causes output problems due to complex transparency effects in your input file, use this procedure to ensure that the file prints correctly regardless of the downstream RIP.

1. Refine the input files without flattening, including the following options:
   1. In the Normalize section of the refine process template, in the PDF 1.4-1.6 (Acrobat 5-7) box, select Leave as is.
   2. Perform all operations such as trapping and Color Matching on the unflattened file.
2. Once the pages are ready to send out, set the job to use APPE.  
   
   1. In the Edit menu of Job Manager, select Edit Job Attributes.
   2.  In the Edit Job Attributes dialog box, in the RIP Name box, select Adobe PDF Print Engine.
3. Output to PDF raster.
   1. Start an output process.
   2. In the Output To box at the top of the process template, select PDF Raster .
   3. Set options in the Render section as desired. 
      For example, output to 600 dpi, 256 shades with antialiasing set to 2.

Si vous nécessitez une sortie ne contenant aucun objet transparent, et que l'aplatissement entraîne des problèmes de sortie à cause des effets de transparence complexes de votre fichier d'entrée, utilisez cette procédure afin de garantir que le fichier s'imprime correctement sans tenir compte du RIP en aval.

Wenn in der Ausgabe keine transparenten Objekte enthalten sein dürfen und der Flattener aufgrund komplexer Transparenzeffekte in Ihrer Eingabedatei Probleme bereitet, gehen Sie wie folgt vor, um sicherzustellen, dass die Datei unabhängig vom nachgeschalteten RIP-Vorgang richtig gedruckt wird.

1. Refinen Sie die Eingabedateien ohne Transparenzreduzierung unter Verwendung folgender Optionen:
   1. Wählen Sie im Abschnitt Normalisieren der Refine-Prozessvorlage im Feld PDF 1.4-1.6 (Acrobat 5-7) die Option Zustand beibehalten.

   2. Wählen Sie im Feld Ausgabe auf oben in der Prozessvorlage die Option PDF-Raster.
   3. Legen Sie im Abschnitt Darstellen die Optionen nach Bedarf fest. Wählen Sie beispielsweise für die Ausgabe 600 dpi, 256 Graustufen mit einem Antialiasing von 2.

Si necesita generar una salida que no contenga objetos transparentes y el conversor de colores planos le ocasiona problemas de salida debido a los efectos de transparencia completos del archivo de entrada, utilice este procedimiento para garantizar que el archivo imprime correctamente sin tener en cuenta los procesos posteriores de RIP.

1. Afine los archivos de entrada sin convertir en colores planos e incluya las opciones siguientes:
   1. En la sección Normalizar de la plantilla de proceso de afinado, en el cuadro PDF 1.4-1.6 (Acrobat 5-7), seleccione No cambiar.
   2. Realice todas las operaciones como, por ejemplo, las tareas de solapamiento y correspondencia cromática, en el archivo sin convertir.
