Note: Do not use this procedure if you create an imposition from a layout application instead of from a proper imposition application. (For example, if you use QuarkXPress software with the INposition Xtension to output a single Adobe PostScript file with the imposition or layout parameters embedded.) When you do this, the output is treated as a loose page (albeit a very large one) instead of as an imposition that references a number of pages. Instead, perform the procedure for Configuring Prinergy Evo for refine and output.

Use the Template Palette to edit which signatures, surfaces, or separations you output.

1. Create a PDF from the input file. 
   • If you have a Refine to PDF standard workflow license, you can do this using any submission channel with a refine to PDF process template attached.
   • If you do not have a refine to PDF standard workflow license, use qualified PostScript Distiller software (for example, Adobe Distiller software) to distill your PostScript to PDF.
2. Configure Prinergy Evo for imposed output to proof or plate.
   See Configuring Prinergy Evo for high-resolution output.
3. If licensed, configure a create imposition plan in Prinergy Evo.
   See Outputting automatic imposition plans.
4. If not licensed, in Preps, create a PDF to PDF or a Preps mixed file - PostScript, imposition plan and assign your PDF pages to the Printer's spread template.
   Alternatively from SignaStation software create an imposition plan and assign the required PDF pages to the Printer's spread:

5. Submit the resulting PJTF or JDF and Marks.pdf (for mixed file, Postscript only) to Prinergy Evo for output using a submission channel (that is, hot folders or the Template Palette). See Submitting files.

For Preps PDF to PDF imposition plans, the marks are embedded in the PJTF files, so you only need to copy the PJTF file to the submission channel.

If you are submitting the process using hot folders, copy both the PJTF (populated portable job ticket format) or JDF file and marks PDF file into the output from imposition hot folder.

If you are submitting using the Template Palette, copy only the PJTF or JDF file to the output imposition template palette. You do not need to submit the marks PDF file.

The Prinergy Evo server computer must have read, write, and modify privileges on the folder from which you submit input files to Prinergy Evo. It is a best practice to put your input files into the shared JobData folder on the Prinergy Evo server computer and mount them from your Prinergy Evo client computer.

5. Envoyez le PJTF ou JDF résultant et le Marks.pdf (pour un fichier mixte-Postscript uniquement) à Prinergy Evo pour le produire via un circuit d'envoi (c'est-à-dire un Hot Folder ou la palette de modèles). Reportez-vous à la section Envoi de fichiers.

Pour les plans d'imposition PDF vers PDF de Preps, les repères sont intégrés aux fichiers PJTF ; vous pouvez donc vous contenter de copier le fichier PJTF vers le circuit d'envoi.

Si l'envoi du processus est réalisé par Hot Folders, copiez le fichier PJTF (Populated Job Ticket Format) ou JDF et les repères PDF dans le Hot Folder de sortie à partir d'imposition.

Si l'envoi est réalisé à l'aide de la palette de modèles, copiez uniquement le fichier PJTF ou JDF vers la palette de modèles de sortie d'imposition. Il n'est pas nécessaire d'envoyer le fichier de repères PDF.

如果经模板面板提交，只需将 PJTF 或 JDF 文件复制到输出拼版模板面板。无需提交 PDF 标记文件。

印能捷演化版服务器计算机必须对向印能捷演化版提交输入文件的文件夹有读、写和修改的权限。 Kodak 建议将输入文件放在印能捷演化版服务器计算机上的 JobData 共享文件夹中，并在印能捷演化版客户机上建立这些文件。

5. Senden Sie die sich ergebende PJTF oder JDF sowie Marks.pdf (für Datei mit mehreren Dateiformaten - nur Postscript) für die Ausgabe über einen Übermittlungskanal (d. h. Hot Folder oder die Vorlagenpalette) an Prinergy Evo. Siehe Übermitteln von Dateien.

Wenn die Übermittlung über die Vorlagenpalette erfolgt, kopieren Sie nur die PJTF- oder JDF-Datei in die Vorlagenpalette "Ausschießschema ausgeben". Sie müssen die PDF-Markendatei nicht übermitteln.

Der Prinergy Evo Server-Computer muss über Lese-, Schreib- und Bearbeitungsberechtigungen für den Ordner verfügen, aus dem Sie Eingabedateien an Prinergy Evo übermitteln. Kodak empfiehlt, die Eingabedateien im freigegebenen Ordner JobData auf dem Prinergy Evo Server-Computer zu speichern und vom Prinergy Evo Client-Computer aus anzumelden.

5. Inviare i risultanti PJTF o JDF e Marks.pdf (solo per file mistiPostscript) a Prinergy Evo perché esegua l'output tramite un canale di invio (ovvero una hot folder o la template palette). Vedere la sezione Invio dei file.

Per i piani di imposizione PDF a PDF di Preps, i segni sono incorporati nei file PJTF, di conseguenza è sufficiente copiare il file PJTF nel canale di invio.

5. Envíe el PJTF o JDF de resultante y Marks.PDF (sólo para archivos mixtos-Postscript) a Prinergy Evo para su salida a través de un canal de envío (por ejemplo, hot folders o la paleta de plantillas). Consulte Enviar archivos.

En el caso de los planes de imposición PDF a PDF de Preps, las marcas se incrustan en los archivos PJTF, por tanto solo necesita copiar el archivo PJTF al canal de envío.

El equipo servidor Prinergy Evo debe tener privilegios de lectura, escritura y modificación sobre la carpeta desde la cual se envían los archivos de entrada a Prinergy Evo. Kodak recomienda que los archivos de entrada se coloquen en la carpeta compartida JobData en el equipo servidor Prinergy Evo y que se monte la carpeta desde el equipo cliente Prinergy Evo.
