The Kodak TIFF Assembler Plus software has now been merged with the legacy Kodak Prinergy VPS software to create a new exciting piece of software called Prinergy VPS+. Prinergy VPS+ is combination of all the legacy VPS features found in Prinergy 8.4 VPS and earlier with all of the features found in Kodak TIFF Assembler Plus.
Prinergy Virtual Proofing System (VPS+) is software that displays pages/artwork and impositions/layouts in full color on the computer monitor. You can save time and money by using the Prinergy VPS+ software to find errors before plates are made.
Use the Prinergy VPS+ software to check imposition/layouts, registration, layered PDF versioning, trapping, backup, fonts, image placement, and color breaks.
Kodak Prinergy VPS+ works in two different modes depending on your productions requirements. VPS+ offers either a Commercial mode or Packaging Mode.
Commercial mode is for digital or offset commercial printing requirements. This mode supports all of the functionality found in the legacy VPS software application.
Packaging mode is for digital, offset, flexographic, or gravure printing requirements. This mode supports all of the functionality found in the legacy VPS software application plus the features found in TIFF Assembler Plus.
