To perform digital output in Workshop, you need to perform the&n= bsp;following steps:
Import the substrates.
Create a job.
Add, refine, and assign an input file.
Adjust job specific parameter if necessary.
Select the Send to Digital option.
Update the Digital Job Ticket Editor settings.
Submit the job to the connected digital device.
Review the job progress in Track.
In Prinergy Workshop, from the Tools menu=
, select Setup.
Note: if thi=
s is the first time you use Setup, it will be automatically installed on&nb=
sp;your computer.
In the left pane, click the arrow next to Equipment.
In the Add digital device dialog box, in the Select Dig= ital Press list, select the required digital device and = in the Sever name box, type the digital dev= ice's IP address or server name.
Click Add and wait a few seconds until th= e device is added to the Digital Device list.
Select the device to view the device details and capabilities in the= pane on the right-hand side.
In the pane on the right-hand side, where all the device details&nbs= p;appear, click the Import Substrate button.
=In the message that appears, select whether to overwrite or skip&nbs=
p;substrates with the same name.
The digital device paper catalog names appear in the Sub=
strate list on the Material > Substrate tab, and in the Substrate list in the D=
igital Output window of Prinergy Workshop.
Note: I=
f the substrate list on the connected device is updated, the user can =
import the substrates again in Setup.
