Resolving matching bleed overlaps in non-rectangular artwork
When you select the Overlap tool from the main toolbar, Pandora software detects and highlights any overlapping bleeds. You can resolve matching overlapping bleeds simultaneously. The overlap areas must have the same shape and the same number of points in the bleed path. You can resolve matching overlapping bleedsBleed margins for sections with bottling
Bleed margins for bottled pages are restricted to the original position of the page bleed margins, so that the bleeds do not overlap with adjacent pages. worddav611024b6557ffe7786be4b4b9f866051.png In this example: The dashed lines represent the original position of the page bleed margins. Automate bleed path resolution by creating all the bleed with overlaps as a special line type in the CAD program you use (for example, Esko Artios or Arden Impact). Both the PLA software and the Pandora software will use this line type to create the bleed. Note: You must have made similar adjustmentsBleeds
The Pandora software offers features for creating and manipulating bleeds in two kinds of work: Rectangular artwork, such as labels Nesting work, such as cartons For both types of work, the software uses the setting for Bleed margins in Preferences to generate the initial bleed path. You can edit bleeds by usingBleed path
You can edit bleed settings in Preferences or in the job properties > Die Attributes area to specify not only the size of the bleed margins, but also, in cases where the Pandora software does not bleed correctly on the first attempt, to modify parameters and have the software generate bleeds again. Select PandoraEditing bleeds manually
You can manually edit bleeds to mask portions of the artwork. You can also adjust rectangular bleed margins to crop out extra image area, such as printer's marks, by using negative settings in the bleed margins. You can edit bleeds by adding points to the bleed path and dragging the points to the desired locationsBleed margins for sections with bottling

When you place an artwork file in the layout, the Pandora software creates a rectangular bleed path that is offset from the PDF trim box by the amount you specified in the Bleed margins box in Preferences. The black handles on a selected artwork identify the trim box. You can modify bleed paths on the Geometry paletteModifying a bleed path
