Identify a Process ID (PID) so that you can troubleshoot, end a process, trace the daemon state, check memory usage, and so on.

Find the process ID number in one of the following locations:

  • In the Process pane, under the Application column.
The name of the process is followed by the process ID number—for example, Spool Daemon (418).
  • In Windows Task Manager, under the PID column
  • No labels
