As the lamps in viewing booths age, they tend to emit a yellowish tint.
To maintain a consistent light color, follow these best practices:
- Ensure that all the lamps are manufactured by GTI or JUST Normlicht. Do not mix lamps from different manufacturers.
- Replace lamps that have burned their expected life span (approximately 2500 hours).
- Replace all lamps in a viewing booth at the same time. Do not use lamps of different ages in the same viewing booth.
- Order replacement lamps from GTI or JUST Normlicht.
- Use new lamps for 100 hours before using the viewing booth for color-critical viewing.
- If the viewing booth has a usage counter, reset it after you replace the lamps.
